Adoption Requirements
- Fill out an Adoption Application, must be approved by Grant County Humane Society
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in your household
- Provide your landlord's name and phone number (or lease) or other proof of consent to have pets on the property
- Provide verification that all current dogs and cats in the home are up-to-date on vaccinations
What's included in the Adoption Fee?
- Pets are dewormed
- All pets are spayed/neutered. No exceptions. We only transfer ownership when an animal is fixed. We cover the cost of spay/neuter.
- All pets go home up to date on vaccinations according to age. (Rabies & Distemper)
- All dogs are microchipped. We hope to start microchipping all of our cats soon.
- We send home food to transition them into your new food for them.
