Adoption Requirements

  • Fill out an Adoption Application, must be approved by Grant County Humane Society
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in your household
  • Provide your landlord's name and phone number (or lease) or other proof of consent to have pets on the property
  • Provide verification that all current dogs and cats in the home are up-to-date on vaccinations

 Adoption Fees
  • Cats
  • Kittens ​(less than 1 year) - $150
  • Adult Cats - $125 (1 yr to 8 yrs) 
  • Senior Cats - $100 (8 yrs +)
 Dogs
  • ​Puppies (up to 9 months) - $250
  • Adult Dogs - $225 (1 yr to 8 yrs)
  • ​Senior Dogs - $175 (8 yrs +)

What's included in the Adoption Fee?

  • Pets are dewormed
  • All pets are spayed/neutered. No exceptions. We only transfer ownership when an animal is fixed. We cover the cost of spay/neuter.
  • All pets go home up to date on vaccinations according to age. (Rabies & Distemper)
  • All dogs are microchipped. We hope to start microchipping all of our cats soon.
  • We send home food to transition them into your new food for them.
